For those that don’t know, I live in downtown Oakland which has been one of the protest flashpoints. Later in the day, I received a call from another friend, a Black woman who works in PR at Netflix. On Friday night, the Target near my house, which is where I go to get the majority of my essentials, was looted and set on fire.
