At Blurb, we’ve built an Internet platform for people to produce their own bookstore-quality books. In the summer of 2008, I took a week’s vacation from my full-time job, which I promptly spent holed up in my apartment, sketching out the blueprint for my future business. That’s it. That’s what we do.
