Sir Martin Sorrel , the founder of WPP (the worlds largest media organization), recently said he went to Tech Punta in Montevideo instead of the CES in Las Vegas. The entire country of Uruguay is connected to the web. They (Uruguay) want to ensure they are not a victim of technology poverty. It’s “his” store.
