It was a mobile app, so he ideally would find someone who had experience with mobile development or someone who could pick up a mobile framework. If you don't understand the basics about mobile technology, then read up on it.

But AGAIN LEARN HOW TO CODE; front end, back end and or mobile development - SOMETHING CAUSE NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR STARTUP. I was basically a consultant without the payment and I basically got taken advantage of. If you can't do that convincingly, go get investor money and hire a consultant. ONLY YOU DO! Act accordingly.

Along the way, I was hired full time (I believe about 8 months after I started), a coder from India was hired and another contractor was added to the team. I can probably help you develop a negotiating strategy, and am willing to consult initially by phone free of charge. . You’d have to look at your stock options contract.
