Just out of college, I moved to China to seek my fortune as an entrepreneur, starting a consulting business where we helped large retailers and fashion brands manage their manufacturing infrastructure in China. The president was totally dismissive of our technology and manufacturing solution. Small is the new big.

They are leveraging the same kinds of new technology, management thinking, and big data to improve lives that we routinely use here in Silicon Valley. I did my best to focus the conversation on key concepts like minimum viable product and rapid experimentation. I don't control any government contracts.
