I am an engineer by trade but also a consumer in life, so being able to couple technical skills with customer experiences in order to create a safer, more secure, and hopefully superior alternative to traditional marketplaces is hugely rewarding. Crunching numbers as a CPA was safe and came with a guaranteed biweekly pay cheque.
