So all the salaries and payroll that's allocated to the delivery function in your business, and then what we like to call, share delivery expenses, which would be some of the software or tools that you're paying for that aren't necessarily for one specific client, but you need to do the work. The ArsDigita of Greylock, General Atlantic, and Allen had nearly 200 with lots of new executive positions at $200,000 or over, programmers at base salaries of $125,000, etc.

It’s like arguing against vertical software. Otherwise, for those yet-another-facebook-type social web apps, just hire competent programmers and give them salary and perks that normal professionals expect, and not hope that their compulsion covers for your managerial incompetence and angel investor micromanaging idiocy.
