Their mission resonated with me so asked a few questions about how technology and social media have helped them grow. I had just moved back to the US from living in Uganda working with an artisan group, and was thrilled to find a brand here in Austin that so perfectly aligned with the kind of work I wanted to continue doing.

The crowdSPRING creatives agreed to offer up their services on a voluntary basis to worthy non-profits and charitable groups at no cost to the organizations, while we agreed to waive all fees and assist in the setup and promotion of their projects. That’s part of why we launched our Give Back program back in 2008.

The sensor costs only about $100, and can protect a $10,000+ asset. Or Uganda for example. I thought we’d be able to use technology to connect supporters to the impact their gifts would make out there and that if we closed the loop, we could restore a little more of people’s faith in giving, and hopefully encourage future generosity!

These clinics will now be able to increase their customer base and benefit from the state-of-the-art technology infrastructure provided by MyDawa as a result of these deals. In order to go forward with its expansion goals, MyDawa recently finished the acquisition of Guardian Health, a well-known healthcare provider in Uganda.
