So for the coming year, I have as my main goal to let go and trust that my wonderful, and very competent staff will be able to deliver the same level of quality that I would. 24- Make the learning of web development accessible. I’ve been a web developer for 10 years and I cringe when I see that I need a module that’s not included…there goes two hours of my day searching, configuring and installing dependencies. Even fewer can be installed in five minutes or less, even by an experienced software developer. Have you ever tried Gimp?

Microsoft started down this path when they were the only game in town, explicitly to maintain their monopoly by making it as hard as possible to either port Windows apps to non-Windows platforms, or to even conceive of how to do it in the first place.
