I see more entrepreneurs today than before and a higher velocity of technology innovation. Technology usage is no longer on the fringe, it is part of most people’s daily life, be it in India, Russia, Abu Dhabhi or Silicon Valley. When speaking about the blockchain to many people in the United States, I get a puzzled look on why the technology matters. And furthermore, why shouldn’t the transactions be cross-border and interoperable, and not dependent on a specific mobile operator? We discussed how Burma is now the first “smartphone only” country in the world.
