I had been in the NY tech scene since 2008/2009 and was just, generally, trying to be helpful to founders, investors, etc. Before becoming a founder, I worked at Aviary for two years and then Dwolla for two years (the latter with my future cofounder Michael Schonfeld ). AT: We learned that expensive lesson.
