On the other side of the coin, micro conversions are actions a user completes that are either on the path to revenue-generating macro conversions or not directly related to revenue-generation at all. This can be like number of checkout visits, pageviews per user, cart adds, etc. Which metrics are not KPIs? Impossible to say.
