As a seed stage VC, I have a unique privilege of confidentially spending time with a number of entrepreneurs throughout their company formation and initial product development process. competing entrepreneurs, VCs, and tech journalists others sometimes privately/publicly accuse and dismiss other groups of copycat tactics.

The truth is, we operated in stealth mode for three years to make sure that our product could stand up against the solutions created by the likes of Pinterest and other monolithic companies. We didn’t approach a single VC until we knew the technology could play in the big leagues. Note the word *actually* in that title! In Closing.
