Because you think Google 2006, 2007, if you searched for a really niche keyword, like how to write a press release or something, there were some results but there weren’t that many. You’d go look at a website and you’d look at the source code and you’d go what is all this stuff? Brian Dean: Yeah, exactly.

A quick look around all the B2C startups shows that, although viral growth is often hoped for, in reality it is extremely rare. Examples of free products include Open Source software, services like HubSpot’s Website Grader , free versions of a SaaS service that have limited, but still valuable, feature sets, etc. This is a mistake.
