The leadership centers of the microcomputer world shifted from Albuquerque to the San Fernando Valley (LA), the Bay Area, and Seattle. It’s not always easy to “break in” to a new community. Tech communities have similar pecking orders , and some are more accommodating that others. Deals were getting done there.

Startup Lessons Learned

One of the most important things we do with The Lean Startup Conference is make a livestream of the plenary talks available for free to groups around the world, supporting entrepreneurship communities everywhere. Most simulcasts are free, although some charge a small fee to cover their costs.
