Any big changes in your marketing/customer acquisition strategy over the last time period (more money doing Search, less money in Email, elimination Facebook as it does not work, etc., Conversion rate is one of those metrics that I strongly encourage you only create benchmarks for from your own data. Direct Traffic (I get a lot of it!)

Great Storytelling With Data: Visualize Simply And Focus Obsessively

Here's a great example of this, check out this slide… It shows searches in some country in 2019. Or, that we have a perfectly good graph we can add numbers to in many clever ways to drag the eye to the growth in searches, but we don't above. Pick a village in Iceland. This is of course a good idea.

You think understanding Keywords without drilling down to each search engine will be awesome. For example I might click on New Visitors, Copy and then customize it to identify New Visitors from Iceland. Idea #1: Segment out your Brand Search Keywords. Pick up Keywords and drag it on to the the Dimension or Metric box.

You can hover over each box to get a sense of the key metrics. No better way to optimize for all of search behavior, rather than the absolutely silly obsession with a few keywords (it is fatal when apply to single session conversion scenarios!). It shows all the incoming traffic to a site as a Treemap. It is pretty nice.
