We have investments in e-commerce, SMB SaaS, Business Software, AdTech, Payments, Enabling Platforms, Consumer Social, Gaming, and Education. Sector-wise, we’ve invested in a bunch of spaces. But there actually have been unifying themes (which I’ll blog more about another time). Geography: 18 of the 23 are in Boston or New York.

A Billion Outstanding Shares Most startups should have fewer than 50 million shares outstanding. If you get an option grant for a million shares and youre employee 25, something is funky. Thats a REALLY bad sign.
