So here''s to the crazy ones, some of the originals: Bulletin board services - I first dialed into the SonicNet BBS from my apartment on T Street in Washington DC sometime around 1994 or 1995. A green text on black background interface, impenetrable, but mindblowing to connect to. The modem was at best 9.6 where are they.

Back in 1998 when Times New Roman was still widely used on the web, my then boss made sure we always designed our web sites with Arial, as she hated the look of serif fonts on the web.
