That means getting 8 hours of sleep every night and resting (not working!) When I became pregnant, I realized that I had to start resting more. After my child was born, I decided that I had to make the rest one of my top priorities. I have a designated place to work: my home office, a co-working space, or a coffee shop.

Generally speaking, healthy boards have exposure to the rest of the management team as well, but interact in ways that do not undermine the CEO. At this stage, you need a true founder who fervently believes they’re going to make the company successful. Right now, our whole bet is on the CEO and the founders and making them successful.
