Lacking vertical alignment, all of the frameworks were technically half grids. Fundamentally, frameworks resemble table-based layout of yore: Horizontal rows divided into vertical blocks. In a separate stylesheet, though, it includes styles to manage a site’s baseline, or vertical grid. Old school. Toast is simple.

As an early employee I worked all hours of the day, never hesitated to jump on a “ red-eye ” plane to see a customer at the drop of a hat, and did what was necessary to make the company a winner. The other thing it helps clarify is that even at work, it’s the relationships that matter most (collegues, customers, partners, etc).

2) Help Others & Improve Upon Customer Service. I started my business namely to help others and to improve upon the aloof customer service being presented in the IT industry. I heard horror stories about how their technicians had chips on their shoulders, belittling customers with their elitist attitudes. That’s it.

It reminds me of a panel that I spoke on in 1997 at the Red Herring Java Technology Conference. On the enterprise side, the only reason I would support having a company move off an existing platform to.Net is if there was significant customer demand for it and if Microsoft would really provide the company with access to its channel.
