Thanks to these two factors, ChatGPT created a great deal of buzz. These last reflect a set of predictions that my partner Saam Motamedi and I wrote last year arguing that within 5 years every profession will have an equivalent of the Microsoft developer product Co-pilot. Of course, there’s still a lot of work to do to make that real.

I know, you really really want to ignore me and operate in secret. However, like you said, more often than not, if someone is gonna put his money into your project he'll want to know that you are gonna kill for it and give up everything. That might happen, but what’s worse — one of those things or a lawsuit?

Investors are looking for proven entrepreneurs to enter this emerging market and they will get well funded too. Sure, we kept bits of information private like our negotiations with future partners or plans for the next version, but it really didnt matter that much. Gee, it must be fun to call entrepreneurs silly.

Not merely in the obvious sense that if you fail to raisemoney you might have to shut the company down, but because the process of raising money itself can kill you. What kills you is the disappointment. This is what kills you. You may be a great entrepreneur, working on interesting stuff, etc. Have low expectations.

Like Edison and the lightbulb, like Gates and the pc operating system, I would launch a revolution that would transform society while bringing me wealth and fame.
