Verizon is seeking payment to carry Netflix’s traffic, and Craig Silliman (Verizon’s head of public policy and government affairs) has said that Verizon’s policy is to require payment from networks that send more data than they carry in return.

Kentucky grows more marijuana than any state except California – 2 billion dollars worth of weed have been chopped down in Kentucky, West Virginia and Tennessee. Kentucky used to grow a lot of tobacco, they still do, but the new cash crop, increasing in the recession years, is bluegrass state pot.

After my year as exchange student, one thing led to another – I came back for college (in West Virginia of all places), got married, got a job, moved around a couple times – you know, the usual things people do. And despite my wacky self, the US Government actually allowed me to stay. Indefinitely.
