At the time we were planning a workshop for B2B tech startups from the IMEC accelerator (Ghent, Belgium) and had a chance to interview many of the companies that had signed up. Buyers became more critical due to a reduction in reosurces and as a result the entire process started to involve more people ultimately taking longer to close.

We combine technology with training.’. Training for Search Engine Optimization, social media and email marketing are very popular nowadays (provided by companies like Hubspot), but training for marketing organisation and planning remains untouched. Currently, Belgium and the Netherlands are our first goals.

I have a few contractors to do the technical side of my work and a customer support person, but that’s it. I love chocolate, so a highlight for me was visiting Belgium. I didn’t have a contractor doing technical things for me. I discovered blogging because I was told it was great for search engine rankings.
