But theres no denying the level of support for entrepreneurs that we enjoy. They take common stock, not preferred, a fact that the entrepreneurs mentioned to me many times. And every year, it looks as if one or two entrepreneurs from the program decide to stay. Some of the mentors are based in Boulder, but many are not.

Typically serial entrepreneurs are serial because they have successfully exited from Startup One before beginning Startup Two, and they use the first one to fund the second. In the two specific cases you mentioned, one had made money from his previous startups, and the other had paying jobs at Google and Nextstop.

As with everything new that grows quickly, it’s a chaotic system with lots of innovation, creative destruction, and rapid change and learning that – if done well – is a great example of the power of the Lean Startup approach to entrepreneurship. Provide some sort of seed capital to their founders.

Because of both lean startup principles and a thriving community of pay-it-forward individuals, we can all now build a little, learn a little, and then repeat. We want to create the go-to hub for entrepreneurs and startup teams going from zero to one in absolutely anything important. Even cheese gets its own go-to hub online.
