Continuous innovation requires the imagination and courage to challenge the initial hypotheses of your current business model (channel, cost, customers, products, supply chain, etc.) A unicorn is a startup with a market capitalization north of a billion dollars. Not kind of wrong but going out of business wrong.

Venture capitalists are still willing to invest in good ideas and companies with sound management teams, but it is more difficult to raise capital in a down market. Companies need to have a clear understanding of their business model and how they will achieve profitability in order to attract investors.
