The poverty rate in Guatemala is around 55%, so I decided to take Rollie to El Remete, Guatemala. Day 0 – Travel to Guatemala City before our next day connection Today was a travel day. We arrived in Guatemala City at 7pm, and got through customs and immigration fairly quickly.

Bonus points for the fact that they partner with the social enterprise Vision Spring to facilitate training for optometrists and eye glass manufacturers in the same countries that they donate glasses to (India, Guatemala, and Bangladesh to name a few), so the communities also receive opportunities for sustainable income.

Outsourcing is something a big company, with a known customer / problem (that has revenue & traction) does to save cost. Talk to your customers. The right people are potential customers – ask them if they have the problem. Create a strong brand, solid social community, sell advertising. How do I stay motivated?
