If anything using the word “Silicon” seems a bit derivative to NorCal. Interestingly, nobody I know in NorCal EVER calls it Silicon Valley, “Silicon Valley.” So many had names of partners (Kleiner Perkins) or local favorite identifiers like trees (Sequoia). Don’t you think?
