According to Gallup surveys , job satisfaction for employees is at an all-time low. Only 13 percent of workers are fully engaged in their job. The sad part is that is seems to be getting worse, rather than better. One obvious alternative is to become an entrepreneur. As a mentor to many aspiring entrepreneurs, I’m often asked what it takes to switch and get real satisfaction from this lifestyle.

Startups are getting hit hard by the economic price of Covid-19. As the New York Times reported yesterday , many companies have started laying off people already. Social distancing means that in many cases, this happens via video conferencing. As a record number of Americans filed for unemployment, this is a very stressful time for job seekers. According to an HR survey conducted by Viola Ventures, an Israeli venture capital fund, a third of respondents reported that they are planning layoffs.
