They “don’t care what people ate for lunch.&# They’re fine on their existing social networks, which these days mostly means they’re happy with Facebook. Traditional social networks are more restricted to people whom I already know and information and updates are less discoverable.

However, Elgg could power 100,000 networks and it would make no difference - there is no revenue stream as we give everything away under a GPL license. There are quite a few other Software Development Companies in Southern California working on open source and/or freemium business models. in Computer Science.

Tech Events / Meetups - In Los Angeles, There are lots of Networking Events in Los Angeles and Southern California that are techie oriented. Do you have dollars to pay for development? Ask them about your concept.

Its also been interesting to see the interaction of tools involved - Social Networking, Blogging and a Discussion Group. The level of resumes we get through our LinkedIn networks is top notch. Weve also found that other social networks such as FaceBook and MySpace to have almost no results when it comes to recruitment.

I found him to be a very compelling founder that I could work with one day but the idea of tracking players like a stock didn’t appeal to me personally because I had the opposite problem – I wanted to track players casually and focus on work during the week. We believe there is a similar trend in Fantasy Sports.
