We are at the Techstars Retail Accelerator again today, then at Leadpages for a board meeting, and wrapping up with an internal Target event and an external startup community event put on by Beta.MN. Because nobody trusts papa ads and you don't even see emails anymore cuz they go into spam. Look at Mr. Beas Burger, the fans, how many people showed up in Minneapolis to get a burger from his place? So when we talk through our accountant and the way that she can bring this to market, she has the email blasts, right? Absolutely.

I know this is CRM 101 but I assure you most startups (and VCs) don’t do this or don’t do it well. If you’re building an education startup and you don’t see any logos of education companies on the firm’s website you are likely targeting the wrong firm. You could easily guess their email addresses or ping them on Twitter?—?don’t.
