My former Partner John Frankel of ff Venture Capital observes that 20 years ago, the defining movie of the generation was “Wall Street”. But now, the defining movie of today’s twentysomethings is “The Social Network”. In 2011, Yale launched Yale-NUS, a sister university based in Singapore. Incubate non-Yalies.

I attended the annual LP meeting for a venture capital firm this week and got into a discussion about the above question. I'm doing a new academic experiment now - an incubator at Menlo College where we are bringing the start-ups to campus and giving the students an opportunity to see how they develop and work as interns.
