According to HubSpot , demand generation is “the umbrella of marketing programs that get customers excited about your company’s product and services.”. That sounds suspiciously like…marketing. For one, outbound marketing. Demand generation would not exist without the shift to inbound marketing.

The downside of this method—if you use AMP—is that the article can be read on Google’s AMP cache. Most of us have, at some point, cleared our cache or cookies to reset our metering on a site. To keep Google from showing the cached link for your page, which allows freeloaders access, add the “noarchive” robots meta tag.
