The capital of Kenya, Nairobi, is a vibrant city offering various resources for young start – ups, including accelerator 88MPH and incubator i-Hub. Kenya offers limited job opportunities to university graduates. It is not surprising that young people are willing to start a business of their own if they can’t find a job.

Inside of companies these are the mavericks you want to fire for not getting with program. Here the company is essentially incubating a startup. Horizon 3 groups need to be physically separate from operating divisions (in a corporate incubator, or their own facility.) Horizon 3 is where companies put their crazy entrepreneurs.

The easy part is, “Let’s have an incubator.” It wasn’t really part of the job as an educator. It’s taught at Stanford, Berkeley, Columbia and probably another hundred universities and colleges because I open-sourced the class and trained educators on how to teach it.
This is going to be BIG.
