This probably wasn’t a fun period of time for a new VC but nonetheless probably made Mike stronger than having started in 1997. Finally, I do want to mention that Mike was the founder of DogPatch Labs , which has facilities in Cambridge, New York and San Francisco. Developer and publisher of social mobile games.

The prior fund that I had co-founded – Mobius Venture Capital – had blown up after having a very successful first fund in 1997. I remember a meeting with the Microsoft Mobile 6.0 team as they were pitching us their vision for Microsoft Mobile 6.5. They ignored us.
