Our guest this week on #TWiVC was Dana Settle , partner at Greycroft Partners , a venture capital firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Greycroft is an early-stage VC. Their first fund was a $75 million fund raised in 2006 and they very recently announced a brand new $130 million fund. Time will tell.

As a new independent angel investor, how will I find new companies to invest in?

Most are somewhere in between, focusing primarily on early-stage, high-growth companies with scalable business models. Most groups run regular education sessions for new members, and provide mentoring for less experienced investors by those with many deals under their belt.
