If this happens, the risk of having an unpleasant experience is much higher, as an early stage startup cannot afford 7 months off the correct path. To give you a practical example, I’d like to analyze the reasons why my startup was rejected from participating in Start-Up Chile ’s Generation 17. Neither of which makes any sense.

Over my career as a serial entrepreneur I observed that since the late 1990s, no early-stage Silicon Valley investor had used business plans to screen investments.
