I know that most people who are close to them tend to deny their existence, as we saw in the great housing bubble of 2002-2007 and the dot com bubble of 1997-2000. I learned long ago at the University of Chicago where I got my MBA that investors tend to want to invest when markets become over-valued and sell when they become undervalued.

Some people in Chicago were starting a company that rhymes with “coupon” at the time. We’ve moved >$1b in resources from the corporate sector to nonprofits.

Chris first came aboard as a consultant back when we were building the site in 2007 and became employee #2 in January 2008, 3 months before we launched. I might also mention that she is a budding stand-up comic working the mic at clubs in Chicago and San Francisco. Chris is focused, loyal, flexible, and kind to everyone around him.
