In fact, businesses need to adapt even more completely to the changes in the buying and social behavior of consumers. Perhaps the greatest asset in social capital is that of benevolence.

They “don’t care what people ate for lunch.&# They’re fine on their existing social networks, which these days mostly means they’re happy with Facebook. Traditional social networks are more restricted to people whom I already know and information and updates are less discoverable. Strange, huh?

When I met my now-wife, I realized that any technology that can find me a spouse is a killer app. But, most of use raise capital and source deals the same way people looked for dates 20 years ago: by networking at conferences (or bars). .
