This is a very common scenario when entrepreneurs pitch VCs and frankly is a very common scenario when VCs try to raise money from LPs. I left the meeting and had to attend a 3-hour board meeting where two founders have been fighting and each want the other one fired. New York, Chicago, Boston, etc. What do I do now? I remember.

Jane and Dick, our fearless cofounders of SayAhh, have set up an accounting system and created their first set of financial statements. The founders each have common shares that will vest over four years. As first time entrepreneurs they did not create an employee options pool; we’ll fix that in a little while.
