A lot of people ask me what it was like raising the Series A round for LinkedIn back in 2003. I thought I’d revisit it and share the story… First, you have to rewind mentally to early 2003. The market size for online advertising, e-commerce, and web premium services are 1/10th to 1/3rd the size they are today.

Starting with the ‘1984’ advertisement , Apple has changed the way we should be thinking, controlling our lives, and operating as individuals. What a great way to transform them into mobile advertisements.

The largest search engine and streaming site were eventually combined due to this. In 2003, Odysseas Tsatalos and Stratis Karamanlakis were friends who wanted to work together even though one of them was in the U.S. Page and Brin built Google on the premise that the most popular pages are the most pertinent and helpful ones.
