You may have heard that venture capitalists in Silicon Valley no longer read business plans. The most common business entity used for startups is a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), which is the cheapest and simplest to manage. For the rest of us, we need a business plan, as well as a product plan.

Fortunately, I’ve had the opportunity to work and learn for many years in both the corporate environment (IBM), as well as the exploding Silicon Valley startup environment of the 90’s.
